Sundance Film Festival Creates Environments Where Every Member of the Community Feels Valued and Shares Their Gifts

All environments need to be places where every member of the community feels valued and is a contributing member based on their strengths, inspirations and abilities. Children are the blossoms of our future and they are now. We must create more communities which allow our children to grow into who they really are by accessing and utilizing their gifts and talents. One of the many and mounting reasons we must support the Arts in our schools.

In this short interview Tommy Lee shares his journey with the arts as a child and how it supported his growth into who he is now. It was a wonderful experience to witness someone who is globally famous honor my daughter as she asked him if he wanted to be interviewed. He immediately stopped and said “yes, for you”. He helped this 6 year old know she was just as important as all of the other interviewers and people who wanted his attention. And he chose her. It brought tears to my eyes. His focus, attention and openness with her was palpable for all who witnessed it. I saw a side of Tommy Lee that truly touched my heart. ~ Shajen Joy Aziz

Focusing on Gratitude

When I woke up this morning, remembering to take time for self care, I became wonderfully overwhelmed with feelings of Gratitude and Love for my family and friends. Remembering to be thankful during this time is important…and it is also crucial that we take the time to acknowledge those we appreciate regularly and not just on special occasions. When we do this, we create more love for ourselves and self acceptance for those we share our gratitude with.

Creating a Conscious and Compassionate World Begins With You

Creating a conscious and compassionate world begins with you and looking at questions like “what do I have to offer my community, my society? . Sharing yourself isn’t always easy however when you pay special attention to what you love and are passionate about it creates an opening in your being, which, if you are receptive to will bring you along the journey of sharing your Gifts. You are filled with possibilities beyond your wildest imagination. The key is to ask yourself questions like: Who am I? What do I love to do? What lights me up and activates me? What do I enjoy doing the most? When we begin to live this way – we begin to create a society our children can thrive in.

Allow Yourself the Freedom to Be Who You Are

Allow yourself the freedom to be who you are ~ because when you do ~ you inspire all those around you to do the same and thus the ripple effect begins. We are each individual trees and together the forest. Each one of us is unique and special…and…as a whole we are powerful beyond measure.

Whenever I Feel Stuck…I Pay Special Attention to My Inner Guidance

Whenever I feel stuck – I consciously breathe, I close my eyes and become present to my current moment, not the past or the future, just my present moment. Then I ask myself….”what will help me shift my current situation?” As soon as I ask this question ~ I move my being to a conscious position of listening and hearing my own source. Then I open my eyes and become aware of any messages from the world around me. Especially paying close attention to what happens as I am thinking or discussing something in which I am seeking answers for. The universe has a way of sharing important information in the most simplest of forms. Like a hawk flying over, a humming bird, bee or animal visiting. A siren going off, the sun suddenly emerging from the clouds; even a cell phone pinging at a certain poignant moment is a message.

Paying special attention to my source, my inner guidance, allows the universe and my inner knowing to share answers with me.

What Are You Whispering to The Children and Those You Love?

“I love you more than infinity. More than the moon and the stars and every galaxy and universe that ever was or ever will be from now to all eternity ~ this is how much I love thee!” ~ My goodnight whisper to my daughter Maya… since the day she was born. Whisper and share sweet things with those you love. This one act will light you both up and create a wave of positive energy for all those around you.

Tell The Children What Is Right and Wonderful About Them

It is time we tell the children what is right and wonderful about them and allow them to focus on the wonders of who they are and what is possible for them as they grow. When we do this we support individual self-esteem along with community esteem which generates greatness for all. Facilitate the growth of our global world ~ One person, one family, one community at a time. We all have a child within seeking to know all that is wonderful about us. When we focus on this with our children they are able to grow into the individuals they are, with full esteem for themselves and others ready to live their Gifts and share them with the world.

We Are In A Constant State of Evolution – Listen to Your Inner Voice

We are in a constant state of evolution; everything is in constant motion and change is inevitable. Knowing this ~ allows you to create anything from this space. Try this: take 2 deep breaths and relax. Ask a question, listen deeply for your insight, and take immediate action on your new knowing (what you heard when you listened to yourself deeply). Notice your “Aha” moment(s). Voila! Change has occurred; you now know something more about yourself which you didn’t before.

Taking action on your insight leads you in the direction of your authentic self and your dreams fulfilled.

Believe in the Power of Your Dreams and Become the Master of What You Love

Believe in the power of your dreams. They are the keys to activating your purpose, your passions. Focus on what you love. Educating and nurturing what you love to do will create a wealth of abundance for you on multiple levels. Your purpose is your biggest dream delivered here on earth. Focus especially on the dreams which uplift you – while simultaneously doing the same for others. Sometimes our true purpose and dreams are not exactly as we planned or pictured and this is OK…we must be flexible and open at the same time. This is important because sometimes we can’t yet imagine what we are really wanting simply because we haven’t been there yet. So to be flexible is to allow that which you can’t imagine is possible to be possible. Go beyond what you think can happen for you. When you follow and educate your dreams and passions you become the master of what you love.

Shift your perspective shift your possibilities: Changing a negative thought to a positive one is all about awareness and then choice. Begin paying attention to your thoughts. Whenever you notice a negative thought: Stop, pause and become present to it. See it and notice you are choosing to focus on this thought…now change or shape your thought and consciously and with awareness replace the negative thought with a positive one. Voila…you have changed your thoughts and thus your possibilities. ♥
