Vulnerability in a Positive Light

Love is…the Ultimate Gift

ImageAs we enter this weekend focused on Love, I am reminded of H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama and his teachings on the importance of having a “universal responsibility, based on compassion and love.” This responsibility is central to a world filled with peace and it begins with us as individuals. I believe the essence of who we are as a people is to want to connect with others and to love and be loved. When you find love, you’ve found it all. Love has the power to heal, forgive, and create compassion and when you embody love and the possibility of love you create harmony and peace in your life and the lives of others.

Universal Spiritual Principles in Action

Our Universal Spiritual Laws are Always in Action

Image

Our universal spiritual laws are always in action. Understanding how they interact with each other and impact our lives is helpful as it supports us to create visions and feelings focused on positive interactions with the self and those around us.

If we examine the law of perpetual transmutation for a moment, we see that it teaches us how everything is constantly evolving and ever transforming. This means that we all have within us the ability to change our lives and recondition our selves and our environment. In my personal experience, this happens with more grace and ease when we understand the basic laws of the universe and that with every action is a reaction, cause and effect, yin yang, karma, dharma and the law of attraction, to name a few.  Each universal law and principle has it’s own nature. Understanding how they interact with each other are helpful for our personal development and the transformation of our families, communities and the earth. ~ Shajen Joy Aziz

The Gift is Within Us All

The Gift is within us all…I believe our purpose here is to unwrap the gifts our being has to offer and generate powerful and positive pathways for others to do the same.

ImageThis is how we create a conscious compassionate world. One person, One family, One community at a time…it is us…We are individual trees and together the forest – our roots and waterways intertwined by life’s destiny.

Trust Your Heart and Intuition – They Know The Way.

When you take the time to search within your heart for the answers, the journey you begin from this point forward is guided by your source. It is when you listen to yourself and follow through on what you know to be true for you – you create energetic waves of integrity which will bear the fruits of your labor. Be who you are by aligning with your inner knowing. Trust your heart and your intuition – they know the way. ~ Shajen Joy Aziz

Sundance Film Festival Creates Environments Where Every Member of the Community Feels Valued and Shares Their Gifts

Image

All environments need to be places where every member of the community feels valued and is a contributing member based on their strengths, inspirations and abilities. Children are the blossoms of our future and they are now. We must create more communities which allow our children to grow into who they really are by accessing and utilizing their gifts and talents. One of the many and mounting reasons we must support the Arts in our schools.

In this short interview Tommy Lee shares his journey with the arts as a child and how it supported his growth into who he is now. It was a wonderful experience to witness someone who is globally famous honor my daughter as she asked him if he wanted to be interviewed. He immediately stopped and said “yes, for you”. He helped this 6 year old know she was just as important as all of the other interviewers and people who wanted his attention. And he chose her. It brought tears to my eyes. His focus, attention and openness with her was palpable for all who witnessed it. I saw a side of Tommy Lee that truly touched my heart. ~ Shajen Joy Aziz
