You showed me how to tan leather. How to hunt. How to garden my own food. How to tend the soil, make fire, and stay warm. You taught me how to live in relationship with the natural world, not above it. Your time on this Earth was brief, yet your teachings were vast and profound. Filled with deep wisdom for living, for loving, for honoring the flora and fauna that surround us, and the intelligence of the Earth beneath our feet. You taught me to honor the Mother. The mother womb. Mother Earth. The mother goddess. The feminine.
