How to begin meditation

First ~ Congratulations on taking a step in favor of your well-being. With a candle and lighter or a relaxing image to focus on, a crystal or your favorite small object, along with your journal, and a nourishing drink like water/tea/lemonade…

Find a comfortable place, set up your space, light your candle or set up your image, and Relax your body with a 4×4.
While looking at the candle or relaxing image, Take a deep breath counting to 4, in through the nose (i,f u can) and then counting to 4 again out through the mouth. Still focusing on the candle/image…hold your breath for 4 seconds and repeat
Do this 4 times…

Voila…you just mediated.
Next is to do the above one more time, then breathing naturally stay with the candle/image, and practice focusing on filling your body with loving-kindness.

When I do this meditation I imagine the Love and Light spiraling within me and then allow it to leave my body and fill the room, then my home, my community, my state, my country, my continent, our globe. You can imagine it your way or use what I just described…

then focus on your friends and family, and Continue this practice daily.

Add ~ your state, your country, your continent, and ultimately the globe.
